37th annual read-a-thon
For 37 of the 42 years that A Special Wish Foundation has been granting wishes, Smith Intermediate has been there to help make them possible.
Thank you for continuing this meaningful legacy of giving back.
Last year, proceeds from this fundraiser helped grant Butler High School senior Matthew a Special Wish: the ultimate Golden State Warriors experience. After beating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, his adventure included a behind-the-scenes arena tour of Chase Center, early access to watch the team warm up courtside, and an unforgettable moment welcoming the players onto the court from the tunnel! Plus, he got to meet his favorite player, Steph Curry!
Matthew once walked the halls of Smith as a student and participated in this fundraiser as a child, making this a full-circle moment none of us will forget.
