Sparkles of Joy
At A Special Wish Foundation of Southwest Ohio, granting wishes is at the heart of everything we do. Through our Sparkles of Joy program, we extend that magic beyond the wish itself by continuing to bring happiness, hope, and connection to wish families throughout the year.

This program offers exclusive experiences that allow families to create positive, lasting memories together. Whether it’s a private visit to Dave & Buster’s, a movie screening, a behind-the-scenes experience at the Dayton Air Show, or a Dayton Dragons game, these joyful events give families something to look forward to and help them stay connected to a caring community of support.

We also welcome donations of event tickets for concerts, sporting events, or other local attractions that our wish families can enjoy. If your business would like to host an experience or provide services as part of the Sparkles of Joy program, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can continue to make moments of joy shine bright for our wish families.
How it Began
Sparkles of Joy began in 2007, when the Dayton Air Show opened its gates early to give Wish Kids and their families an exclusive preview day.
That moment sparked a tradition of joy and connection that continues today.
Today
Today, the Sparkles of Joy program has expanded to offer many opportunities for Wish Families to make memories all throughout the year.
